

Grantmaking Priorities
Over the next several years, Trencadís will be focusing its funding and support in the following three areas:
Migrant Advocacy and Resettlement
Uplifting the dignity of migrants by nurturing their voices, safeguarding their human rights, and cultivating thriving communities.
Racial Justice and Equity
Working towards racial reconciliation and equality at both a community and system level, with a focus in Maternal Health Justice and Food Equity.
Reconciliation between the Church and the LGBTQ+ Community
Seeking to reduce the level of harm on the LGBTQ+ community and fostering all-inclusive, fully-welcoming faith communities which are Christ-led and Gospel-centered.

Criteria for Grant Recipients:
In addition to alignment with one or more of the above priorities, we use the following factors in the decision-making process. The prospective grantee:

Values and seeks opportunities to collaborate with others, including other nonprofit organizations,

Demonstrates an organizational ethos that embodies mercy, grace, humility, empathy, peace and love, and

Engages with people of their affected group in meaningful roles within the organization.
